Over half a million blocks used to build grand Town Hall in just 18 days
BritishWanderer II, Crown Prince and Duke of Bedford
Crown Prince BritishWanderer II and Duke of Windermere Gobblin today officially opened the new state-of-the-art Town Hall in the Principality of Pavia.
In a strong show of support for local industry, Pavian workers placed more than 250,000 blocks to complete the exterior of the building.
An additional 250,000 blocks of stone were needed to reinforce the structure.
Crown Prince BritishWanderer II said today’s opening was a historic milestone for the community as the first new building to open in Pavia since it was founded.
“This has been an astonishing display of Pavia’s ability to not only build but also our immense logistical capability to gather, organise and transport construction material to the places it needed to be in such a short amount of time”, he said.
“I appreciate and am very proud of all Pavians who played a part in erecting our grand Town Hall.”
“After a mere 18 days of toil, I cannot thank Pavians, our neighours and our friends enough for their hard work and assistance.”
Duke Gobblin welcomed the end of construction work.
“All Pavians should be proud of the work they have put in”, he said.
“With half a million blocks used, the Town Hall is a spectacle of the sheer determination of the Pavian people.”
The Bureau of Architecture has already started designing the future streets and buildings that will line the coast.
